Bradbury HIKE Adventure @
Bradbury Mountain State Park

9:00am-11:00am

Sculpted by a glacier, Bradbury Mountain is the park's most outstanding natural feature. Today the park's forest is home to a wide variety of plants and animals. Meet up with Teens To Trails hosts and spend time walking or hiking on the park’s network of trails and taking in a magnificent view from the summit.

Meet up at the Welcome Center with Teen To Trails hosts to pick up a map, fill up your water bottle, and enjoy the country air. Try out a fat bike for free if they are available. With its rolling terrain, the River Loop is excellent for family rides. Add the Valley Farm Loop for a challenging, hilly ride, or try the Oak Hill trail system for a combination of both. Trails are graded and are 12-16 feet wide.

Pineland has over 5,000 acres of beautiful woodlands and fields that are open to the public for year-round outdoor activities including 30 kilometers of professionally designed, well-kept trails for biking.

Meet up with Teens To Trails hosts to explore a park that contains varied ecosystems; including climax white pine and hemlock forests, a salt marsh estuary, and the rocky shorelines on Casco Bay and the Harraseeket River. The popular Casco Bay Trail carries walkers along Maine's legendary coast to a point where the surrounding islands of Eagle, Cousins and others are described on an interpretive panel.

There is more than one way to use your hammock on your next camping adventure. Join us for a yoga class on how to transform your hammock into a suspended playground for adults. Increase your spinal traction for more comfortable sleep and recover your body for longer adventures by learning all the ins and outs of how to fuse yoga and your hammock in a bundle of absolute adventurer bliss. 

Bring your LL Bean or ENO hammock with you to class. No hammock? No problem. We've got you covered.

Orr's island SEA KAYAK adventure @
H2Outfitters 10:00-12:00pM

This program will provide some comprehensive instruction and coaching, working with people at their respective level of skill, as the group explores the waters surrounding Orr’s and Bailey Islands. There may be opportunities to see eagles, seals, and most certainly some working lobstermen. All the while we’ll be working on strokes to include the sweep, stern draw, and efficient forward stroke technique.

*Bring your own kayak, OR sea kayak rental available.

Plan on arriving by 9:30 to unload your boats and gear. If anyone needs a kayak it would best to call H20 Outfitters ahead of time to reserve one. A rental fee of $25 will apply which is half the normal pricing for decked boats.
