Teens To Trails is calling all Outing Club students to be a part of the 2nd Annual Life Happens Outside Festival. As a part of the weekend, T3 has rented campground spaces at Wolfe's Neck Oceanfront Campground for a weekend camping experience before heading to the festival on Friday night for the Maine Outdoor Film Festival and then back to L.L.Bean on Saturday to volunteer and enjoy the festival! Students & volunteers may also stay on Saturday night and enjoy the Family-Friendly Outings & Storytelling event on Sunday.
This trip is open to Maine Outing Clubs attending the Life Happens Outside Festival. On Friday night, we'll meet at Wolfe's Neck Oceanfront Campground at 6pm to set up camp before heading to L.L.Bean's Discovery Park. At 7:30pm, we will head over to L.L.Bean to enjoy the Maine Outdoor Film Festival... outside on the lawn and under the stars! On Saturday morning, we hope Outing Club students & advisors can join us to volunteer.
Details: This event is totally FREE for outing clubs. Teens To Trails will provide breakfast & lunch on Saturday, August 18th. Students are encouraged to stay and enjoy the festival, but will be able to leave at anytime after 12pm. This program is FREE for all students & advisors who volunteer at least two hours at the Life Happens Outside Festival, but don't worry because the volunteer opportunities are fun!
